Join the Walcha Road Ride Challenge; a 75km cycling circuit through the picturesque surrounding countryside and villages of Kentucky, Wollun and Walcha Road.

OR the Shandied-down short-course of 56km,  cutting straight through to Wollun via the recently sealed Bergen Road.

WALCHA FARMERS MARKET

McHattan Park 8.30am – 12.30pm.

At the Walcha Farmers Market you can wander around the fabulous stalls, grab an espresso coffee, sample the local food and produce or pick up something for the garden.

WALCHA QUILT EXHIBITION

Woolshed, Langford House  9.00am – 4.00pm.

You will find a fabulous display of beautifully crafted quilts at the Walcha Quilt Exhibition, open both days in the Villa Wolka Woolshed at ‘Langford Homestead’.  Entry is $2, with all proceeds going to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.  Morning and afternoon tea are also available for a small fee.


TRASH & TREASURE MARKET

Derby Street  9.00am – 1.00pm.

Organised by the proprietors of the local old wares shop, the Trash and Treasure Market is held at the Fun Clown Shop in Derby Street (opposite the Apsley Arms Hotel).


SATURDAY AFTERNOON SESSION

2.00pm onwards.

Enjoy some great live music at the Walcha Royal Cafe & Accommodation. Relax and order a meal or a cold beverage and soak up the live music.

There is also plenty to see, do and discover in the beautiful national parks surrounding Walcha.  The awe-inspiring Apsley Falls are a must see for anyone visiting Walcha.  Only a short 15 minute drive from the town’s centre and very accessible, you will be amazed at the magnitude of the Apsley Gorge and stunning Apsley Falls just off the Oxley Highway.
